Appalachian Roots-- an evening of Old Time mountain music and dance Empty A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HELPED MAKE APPALCHIAN ROOTS A NIGHT TO REMEMBER

Post  BeardyPete Sun Nov 20, 2011 9:18 pm

Hi all,

Well it was definately the Place to be on Friday Night. Almost a sell out crowd came to see Riley And Ira show off their talents in one of the most energetic and engaging performances I have ever seen.

I thank every one who turned up and participated and everyone who helped me promote the event around the village. It was great to see so many people smiling, laughing and clapping along and the raffle raised £110 for the Church Development Fund.

. Ira said it was one of the best gig they have ever done in the UK and would happily come back when they are next on tour. They are also going to tell their other old time and country music playing friends that they have to play here when they come too.

Watch this space folks I will be organising more in the new year
